On raconte que, quelque-part dans les entrailles du quartier de La Défense, un monstre sommeille, oublié de tous. Cette créature gigantesque serait le fruit du travail d'un homme : l'artiste niçois Raymond Moretti. On dit que le peintre sacrifia tout à cette œuvre d'art. Pourquoi préféra-t-il s'y consacrer plutôt qu'à la brillante carrière qui s'offrait à lui ? Pourquoi laissa-t-il son étrange progéniture l'entraîner inexorablement vers les profondeurs de La Défense et l'oubli ?
Somewhere in the basement of the La Défense district, a monster lies, forgotten by all. This gigantic creature is said to be the work of one man: artist Raymond Moretti. The legend tells us that the painter sacrificed everything for this work of art. Why did he choose to devote himself to it rather than to the brilliant career that lay ahead? Why did he let his strange offspring drag him inexorably into the depths of La Défense and into oblivion?
